Bluebonnet’s Commitment to Music

Bluebonnet’s Commitment to Music

Bluebonnet School has been teaching music to our students since we first opened in 2002. We believe that music is an important part of each child’s experience. Singing or playing an instrument with others, regardless of age, brings people together. We have seen many times that music can be the spark that ignites a child’s verbal communication and sense of awareness.

At Bluebonnet all preschool children learn and enjoy music that has been woven into our curriculum. Each preschool child also has an hour of classroom music each week with one of our two full-time music teachers.

Semi-private music lessons are an optional enrichment offering at Bluebonnet. Students as young as two can participate in our “Music and Movement Fun” program, and threes and fours can take part in “Music for Little Mozarts,” - a beginning piano program. There are also lessons available for more advanced piano, guitar and even ukulele for our more mature pre-k students and after schoolers.

Sign up forms are available in the school lobby.
