Waterloo Swimming at Bluebonnet

Waterloo Swimming at Bluebonnet

This summer Bluebonnet is teaming up with Waterloo Swimming to offer swim lessons here at Bluebonnet Cedar Park’s pool. We recognized the high quality and professionalism of Waterloo Swimming and invited them to teach summertime swim lessons.

Swimming is an important life skill that all children should learn early on. There are so many benefits in learning to swim, and your child will get pleasure from the ability throughout childhood and into adulthood. Not only is it great for their health, but it could one day save their life too.

This year children as young as 3 may participate. Lessons will be weekly, with four lessons a week, Monday through Thursday, for 30 minutes. Group sizes per teacher are no more than 4. Along with the instructor there is a dedicated lifeguard watching over the swimmers. Parents will receive an email from Waterloo at the end of each week with a progress report for each child. These weekly lessons will begin on June 3 and end August 8.

There will be learn-to-swim lessons as well as more advanced lessons on improving strokes. Of course, youngsters starting swim lessons will be evaluated in order to place them in an appropriate class.

These lessons offer families the flexibility to select the swim lesson weeks with their family summer schedule in mind. Registration and payments will be handled through the Waterloo website at www.waterlooswimming/bluebonnet.
